Coding a Better World

The Music Oasis Omni technical team is a group of experienced virtual world and multiplayer game programmers.  They came to game programming from careers in database management and software engineering.  They have a C++ and python background and have developed in multiple game platforms.  They have built MMORPG games in Unreal from scratch and integrated many technologies.  The team is building a session based MMORPG called myMO that focuses on virtual venues for sharing and making music.  The Technical team is also available for contracting especially in Unreal Engine where they can draw on the code base already developed in myMO that may solve your technical needs.

Coding skills are centered on multiplayer game development and include:

  • Integration with Steam for Lobby and Matchmaking for Session based games
  • Integrating AWS databases with Unreal Engine and the Sansar game platform
  • Menu systems and huds
  • Integration of Text Chat and Voice Systems
  • Character subsystems and integration including a proprietary character system that has unrivaled morphing capabilities, Ready Player Me and others.
  • Animation Systems for interacting with your Avatar
  • DMX Lighting, Particle Effects and Visual Effects (VFX) especially related to music performances
  • Game distribution including UE paking strategies and steampipe for distribution
  • Music integration including Midi and OSC
  • Streaming live performances into an MMORPG including supporting major labels such as Mau5trap DJs
  • Research and development into multiple technologies such as Virtual Reality
