Aurrie Lynne

Aurrie got hooked on many forms of Music early on in life. While never being part of any band she loved to sing and was active in Chorus. She became an avid collector of all styles of music after she got her first Professional Tape system and she has never stopped collecting. She also became hooked on computers and especially the fun music stuff you could do on them. She is always on the lookout for new music applications and the minute you can get your hands on them, Aurrie has them.

Early on, she went over the top with computers becoming the ultimate nerd, with now 25 years in computer support. She has loved being on the leading and bleeding edge of technical projects at the university, where she has touched all aspects of the subject from technical engineering, business applications and databases, to the artistic programming used in music and art education.

After semi-retirement, she is still active as a Database Integration Consultants & Contractor. In all these years, she has never stopped learning, and loves digging into new technology as soon as it was possible to get it. She has Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in MIS with a 3.96 and 3.98 GPA respectively.

Today, Music is very prevalent in her family, with all 3 of her boys at a young age being encouraged in music and became quite proficient as musicians and singers. A passion they still carry into adulthood. Music is a binding passion in this family. Her lifelong acquired collection and interest in music continues and has been a key part in keeping her sanity, when knee deep in technical projects. Her music expression is now more publicly shared as an active Virtual World DJ and club owner for the last 6 ½ years.
