In our Mix Quest games you explore Fortnite Islands using clues and the mini-map to help you capture beat blocks by either running through them or solving a puzzle. When the beat block is captured a drum, bass, guitar, keyboard, synth, pads or vocal track/stem begins playing and is added to the overall music mix playing in the game. There are six quests per island with each quest having 6 beat blocks that need to be captured to build up and finish the final mix.
Each BeatzQuest island has a different musical theme like EDM, Reggae, and Rock along with an overall artistic design that immerses you in that music genre.
After completing a BeatzQuest island you are invited to a DJ Remix Island of the same Music Genre. In the Remix islands, you can use the beat blocks you just captured during your quest and create your own unique mash-up of music genres by mixing the sample/loops from the different sub-genres together in a rave/dance club on the DJ Remix Island. In addition to DJing the remix, you use an in game menu system to customize your own light show of killer DJ lights & special VFX that are brand new to Fortnite. Invite your friends to your remix and light show. You can build the remix up together and see who can make the most awesome Rave DJ Show!
